Start young. Start in the right direction! Piano Pioneers for Preschoolers is the perfect introduction to the basic fundamentals of piano playing, and also a wonderful foundation for further musical study. The small group classes inspire imagination, develop fine motor skills and rhythmic skills, and introduce the basic fundamentals of piano playing. Through exciting, original music, accompaniments, videos, puppets, fun activities, computer programs, and more, students will discover the joy of music-making at the piano!

The small group classes last 8 weeks each and are designed specifically for preschool ages 4-5.  We offer 3 different classes according to level. Each class lasts 8 weeks.

• Piano Pioneers - Beginners (Cost: $90/month - $180 total)
• Wunderkids - For students who have completed Piano Pioneers (Cost: $90/month - $180 total)
• Piano Maestros - For students who have completed both Piano Pioneers and Wunderkids (Cost: $90/month - $180 total)
• Kangaroo at the Z0o (Cost: $60)

The Piano Pioneers is a wonderful introduction to the world of music and the piano. If your child chooses to continue, our Wunderkids expands upon note reading and mastery of several piano pieces. We offer a final level, Piano Maestros, which includes an introduction to composition and classical music as well as pop, blues, keyboard theory, and improvisation. All three classes are fabulous introductions to private piano instruction for those students who have discovered a love of piano and music and would like to continue to develop their talents and skills. A student favorite, Kangaroo at the Zoo is a special optional field trip to The Birmingham Zoo where students perform for the different animals on a keyboard!
